Qi Veterinary Clinic Staff Working in the Labratory

Join a special place, Qi Veterinary Clinic, our holistic practice in beautiful Vermont. We strive to meet the demands of a local populace that is passionate about holistic medicine. Our veterinarians examine on average eight to ten patients per day.

We are a full-service veterinary clinic focusing on proactive health maintenance, with consultation-based medicine, discussing the roles of lifestyle, nutrition, acupuncture, natural medicines, physical therapies (chiropractic, massage, exercise, laser therapy), and pharmaceuticals to help our patients live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Any practice espousing the medicinal quality of herbal medicine needs to emphasize the value of natural, whole food diets. We do this by selling high quality, organic, raw food diets made by Aunt Jeni’s Homemade, of Maryland, and premium quality, lightly cooked diets made by Goodness Gracious, of Massachusetts, to support our patients’ health.

We emphasize natural medicines to address the root cause of disease, prevent disease patterns from developing unhealthy stability, and, when necessary, treat life-threatening disease. Specifically, we are following the paradigm of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) applied to animals, a school of thought taught by Dr. Steve Marsden. In this model, we use classical Chinese herbal formulas constructed by the masters of Chinese medical history to potently address the problems common in our canine and feline patients.
